need advise on car system..

Hey guys,

I have:

Head unit: Pioneer 590mp

Speakers:

front door: (2) whip audios 6.5" 100w rms/200w

rear fill: (2) O2 audio 6.5" 100w rms/200w

subwoofer:Kicker solo baric L7 12" in a ported enclosure

Amps:

for sub: KICKER ZX750.1 MONO CLASS D

for speakers: Kicker ZX850.4 (bridged to 2 channels)

since the speakers are 8 ohms I have them on parallel to equal 4 ohms

I also have a Hifonics HFXR 2 crossover and a 1.5 farad capacitor

My question are: Do I really need a capacitor?

Do I need a higher farad cap?

Do I really need a crossover?

Whats the best settings to put my amps on for better sound?

Do I need a second battery or high output alternator or both?

1. do not get a cap

2. you can use the filters built in the amps and the hu

4. neither, do the big 3 and you should be fine with that power

No capacitor. If you have problems with dimming or voltage drops try the big 3.and possibly a new battery if there are still problems.

Edit: I was a little slow. But x2 on that^^

That battery should be fine. just try the big 3 if you have any dimming or voltage drops.

i never went active with my comps but other people on this board swears by it. mayb you should look into going active.
