Need advice

Alright I just got my first car about a month ago. I have a 1987 mustang hatchback. I am wanting to buy some subwoofers for it. I have picked out three that are options right now since money is a big issue. Which should I get.

two kicker cvr 12s in a ported box

For the current subs Im looking at are the three choices I listed. The dd audios will be probably next year when I get them. As for the question weather I should get a sealed box or a Ported box, goes for all of them. I have a hatch not a trunk and was wondering weather I should go with ported or sealed?

Everyone says that.

Truth is, none of the three subs you're looking at are going to sound all that clean, and they're not going to be extremely loud either. The good news is that you're a new enthusiast and probably won't notice the difference anyway. With that being said, I don't think the CVRs are a bad choice for a first time buyer.

Subs and port back should get relatively loud if your box is worth a d*mn and your amp is providing clean power...

You could buy a brand new Fi Q or DC Level 4 for less than $300 and bypass the entry level stuff altogether...

I'll sell you my Fi BL. It was in a ported box in my Celica, which is a hatchback, and it sounded pretty clean and got plenty loud for a single 15. Ask AQHDC3 up there.

a couple of Critical Mass UL 12's sealed would be a pretty nice choice in SQ subs with clean bass and they only require 1.2 cu ft sealed each...in the hatch you have little space unless you plan on doing away with the back seat...
