Need advice on big setup, please!

Ok...so i think i have decided firmly on the BL 12's with every option and daily driver .......but NOW i am looking at that SAZ-1500d amp ....and i'm thinking it's not going to be enough ....i have the money for the 3000 ...but i seriously don't want to have to upgrade my entire electrical system JUST to accomodate that amp ...would it be safe to just stick with the 1500??

u should go with the w7 my friend has 2 w7 with 1000k to each and was doing 170db like it was nothing and u can get 2 w7 and the jl amps on ebay for like 800-1300 for subs and the amps. but what ever u get will be fun

Ok..i'm not flaming at all, but in the last competition i went to .....there was this guy who had 2 jl 13 w7's with a RF power bd1500 running to each, two yellowtop batts and a nasty custom box and he only hit around the VERY low 150's ....i really am interested to know how your friend hit 170 with 2 12's! what was he using ?

i think u got your figures wrong 170 nooooo with 1000k, 1k is 1,000, 1000k that amp must be the size of my car

The shitty part of that is the fact that my amp was stolen from my car the night before the competition....so i never got to see what i would've hit with them ..... i know i liked them...but, like everyone is saying ...6k for that JL setup -is- a quite bit pricey ....hell, i just added to cart 2 BL's daily with every option, and 2 Sundown 1500d ....for 2975 .......that's outstanding for two amps and two subs!

You can do so much better for 6gs or get that setup for a lot lower I think
