Been out of the car audio world for a while now. I have no clue which amps are any good or fit my taste. I plan to go with a 6.5" component in the doors (JL C2 line) and 5.25" 2 way in the rear (JL C2 line as well). Looks like I need a 4 ch amp with 60-75 x 4 watts rms at 4 ohms. I am not looking for loud. I want crisp, clear, clean, smooth sound if that makes sense. I used to run a hifonic jupiter amp in the late 90's with the old school sony XS1051's in the door, silk dome tweeters in the door, and that same line of sony XS 5.25's in the rear which i really liked. the jupiter produced the sound I am looking for now. Back then I tried another amp with those speakers that was just too loud (either a sony or kenwood, just dont remember because it was long ago). The sony or kenwood amp just did not seem to produce a refined sound like the jupiter, it was just loud. Hopefully the description makes sense and gives you all an idea what sound I am looking for from the amp. I also want the amp to be small in size to fit under my passenger seat and my budget is 300 or less. Thanks for your advice
