I hope that you do realize the subwoofer you want to use has a mounting depth of 6 3/4" and with height you have means that when the subwoofer is mounted in the top, the back of the subwoofer is going to be right up against the bottom.

You need at least 3/4" clearance for the back of the subwoofer for the pole vent.

i'll disagree. while the 3/4" would probably be the best possible case, it's not 100% necessary. IME, as long as the pole vent is not blocked off, a person will be fine. while i always try to achieve at least 1/4" of clearance, sometimes an install calls for just enough to say it isn't blocked. and with his box having a slight back to front incline, 2" over a 14" run, the pole vent will indeed be able to breathe.

OK, I see that now in his design.

Although, I do not concur with the minimal pole vent clearance of a 1/4" because 1/4" isn't that much and the least I would ever do is 1/2" unless the customer does care, but, that's on them if they roast the subwoofer.
