Need a recommendation on a Double Din

So I currently have a Volvo xc70 with the excellent Dolby Pro-Logic 5.1 11 speaker surround sound and after 14 years of service the head-unit is beginning to crap out. Buying used would mean I would be dealing with the same problem in a couple years and a new one is about $700 so aftermarket is the way to go. I don't plan on upgrading the speakers as they are of excellent quality and it already has 300w amp. Are there any recommendations for a Double Din that would work well with this system and would there be any way to hook up/compensate for the lack of the center channel? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

A lot of Volvos were equipped with Alpine products...So Id go Alpine on the double DIN

I would contact Crutchfield.com for recommendations. There may be aftermarket units that allow you to keep your center channel. Good hunting.
