Jvc head unit not working right

I have a jvc head unit had it for about 3 years lately I have noticed it starts to sound like crap after playing for a couple minets when I first turn it on it sounds fine but 2-3 minets later it sounds like crap the volume sounds like it's been turnd down if i turn it up it just gets worse but I turn it off for a few minets and turn it back on it gose back to normal for a couple minets but then gose back to sounding like crap after a couple minets

Have you checked your settings? Some JVC Units have the capability of turning off the internal amplifier, to allow your head-unit to operate off the external amplifier. Play around with this setting, if available.
