Need a little help on a box design

98' firebird, sleeper ftw
Im making a box for a 15" fi ssd.

I entered the dimensions that would fit nicely in my trunk need some imput if this will work.

can someone critique this box plan for me?

Can't help you with the box design for that sub but I can tell you that Lowes/HD will cut for you for a fee //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif Usually its $4-7 a cut last time I checked. My local HD has a really nice CNC table saw that can whip out a box in no time.

 
$4-7 every cut? isnt that a little much? Buck i was going to pm you, but im going there in like 30mins. could you do it now? im not sure if you have time. is the box i posted up there look fine though?

 
Hmmmmm. looks exactly like the box I was planning for my soon to come re se 15d4. Same port, same tuning, same box dimensions, same cu ft.

Buck how would either the ssd or se sound in that box on 1000rms?

 
Even if the calculator is off just a bit I doubt it'll be audible. You also have the correction factor at play with the port sharing so many walls with the enclosure so that should drop tuning back down 1 or 2 Hz.

The design looks fine to me.
