need a line driver...

what do you guys recommend? was going to go with the basic overdrive line driver. btw, i have a kenwood ddx-6017 (2V outs) and need to up them in order to use the ma audio hk4000d that i just bought off of scottie.

hell yea i remember you lol. that was a while back though, when FXN ruled. so what do you think i should get since i dont really want to give up the video funciton (have headrest TVs and waht not)? they said the overdrive was the best unit out there.

i dont really know anything about line drivers....i think audio control makes some nice ones....im still tryin to learn about line out converters or whatever the hell they are so i can run subs and amps with my stock HU in the mini cooper lol

oh, alright, no problem. ahh, i know what youre talking about. i know JL audio makes that clean sweep that you might be able to use. its pricey, but supposidly worth it if you want to keep the HU stock.

haha, that sucks man. i can only imagine why lol.

the cleansweep is alot lol....if anything, i may do the rockford 3sixtey.2 i think it is....or audioconrol makes one im sure. idk i aint doin the mini system til i finish the wall in the X....have u seen it?

but ya im usually the one to ditch the stock HU, but idk why, i just dont think i'd like the look with an aftermarket HU in the mini for some reason...

yea it is. never heard of the RF one, but they usually make good stuff if its their upper line. i did catch a thread either here or on SSA's site about it though. saw some of the progress pics, looking good from what i saw so far.

idk how it would look, i cant imagine it.

idk if you saw what im building for a system yet, but here it goes:

-fi 15" btl, fully loaded

-ma audio hk4000d

-ma audio hk398

-alpine type x componants

-2 yellow tops

-all 1/0ga wiring

-250A alt

its going to be beastly. of course the sub is going to go in a nice ported box, 4 cubes after displacement (with all thread too). im also going to make another false floor and flushmount the amps.
