need a hard hitting 8"

looking for 8" subwoofer that hits pretty hard (if such thing exists). I would like a woofer that would sound good in small enclosure. 10" would be ok too as long as the box can be of a minimal size.

Bascally what I'm trying to do is install it in a ski pass in the middle of rear seat. the dimensions of the opening is 10"x10" so i'm limited to the size of the woofer.

For a reasonable price, "hard hitting 8" is a paradox. There isn't enough there to make a reasonably priced 8 that hits hard.

DD 1508, people have fed them up to 1k RMS, not sure about daily though

from my experience for going loud dd1508 > SS rli-8 > RE re8

DD sounded the worst and took a bigger box, but for output you gotta make sacrifices.

A guy at a local car audio shop recently hit a 151db with 4 8 inch DD(Digital Designs) subwoofers. Not sure which model though.
