i'm getting a orion 1200d for my sons car. i'm looking for 2- 12" or maybe 1- 15"(for space) that will handle the 1200d. i'm also looking at infinity ref. 12"s any thoughts on them. i can buy 1 get 1 free at ccity right now.

Those infinities are very nice subs, especially for the money. Are you looking for a lot of output or more towards sound quality?

2 12" kicker compvr's, 2 12" alpine type r's, 2 12" soundsplinter rl-p's, 2 12" re se's, there are lots more but those are the ones that just popped in my head. all of these can be had for ~$150 a piece except for the rl-p its like $240.

I personaly wouldnt do the type r's unless you are doing a large ported box. For some more cost friendly subs, I would consider 2 kicker comp vr's, L7's or a decent 15. It really depends on your cost though what to recommend. I personaly love the jl 12w6v2's and the dd3515 I think is another amazing sub. But they cost a bit more.
