well i wake up christmas morning to find 2 12'' DEI subs in my room...i was planning on buying 2 12'' alpine type-r's but i guess im going to stick with the DEI's...can any one tell me anything about these subs because i know NOTHING about them

Which model are they? I had 2 DEI 12'' DVC Competition subs and a Kicker ZX 360 (550rms) in a 2.0 cf enclosure and they hit real nice and deep.

The Competition said Competition and had yellow on the dustcap. They also made an entry level series called Studio I believe, they had blue dustcaps.
