its a blazer and i have 33 inches wide till my power wire comes out of the floorboard and the height 15 inches will work and depth can be whatever it needs to be. oh yeah i want to use 3/4 inch MDF

i've included the displacement of the subs already in the box vol 3.12 cu ft

the tuning feq is 32 Hz and the F3 is 29Hz if that helps and i appreciate the help

for tuning purposes need to know the NET volume of enclosure. so what is your actual goal for volume? i can get a design done real quick.

32 is a low tuning for spl..? you just want it to be a loud daily?

Have you tested to find what frequencies are loudest in your vehicle? most vehicles have a frequency usually in the 40s of 50s that they get a peak in tuning right below this makes your box peak around the same frequency. smaller sized box larger port area and lotsa power also help.

For a Blazer you want subs up on the passenger side and port facing driver side. They peak right around 50 hz, so tuning to 32 is too low to maximize their potential.

theres a few recomedations on the data sheet, how about:

gross volume-2 cu ft + .12 displacement.

net volume - 1.78 cu ft + .12 displacement?

feq tuning - 42 Hz

F3 - 39 Hz

this is the loudest on the data sheet.

Optimal volume of enclosure will depend on how much power you're using, but tuning at 42 hz would work much better for SPL while still keeping it usable for daily driving.

In general :more power=smaller box (sub will mechanically handle more power) while less power=bigger box for efficiency

Do you mean you're running a total of 410w or that much to each?

wow 410 watts lol we push 500 + to each of the 6k series and 400-500 on the 55 series they will take a beating dude.

410 total and the subs say they are only 250 a piece so why would you run that much to a sub like that?
