Need A 600w amp @ 4ohms

Hey guys, I blew my Planet Audio VX3002 that was pushing my 15" Brahma. Now, I need to get another amp that will replace it. I get this stuff confused pretty easy but I think my sub is a Dual 4 Ohm if its calling for 4 ohm power? Or, it might be Dual 2...I don't quite know but someone should know based on the amp I used to push it.

Either way I would like some suggestions on which amp to push it now. Money isn't really an issue but obviously the cheaper I can power it the better.

*EDIT*

Here's the list of amps I'm thinking about (only found one new one so far). Go ahead and give me opinions or if you don't like any on the list, suggest one.

Hifonics ZXi 6006

Planet Audio VX3002 (another one)

Get a JL 500/1,you really cant wire it wrong and it will last, not like hifonics junk. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eek.gif.771b7a90cf45cabdc554ff1121c21c4a.gif

PG x600.1...I got one, it is sick. I called PG and they told me this in case your lookin for a little extra power.

4ohms - 723 watts

2ohms - 836 watts

@ 14.4V though

I thought the PG X's did the same power at 4, 2 and 1ohms?

you cannot get a dual 4 ohm sub to play 4 ohms unless you're using a single coil X.X

no wonder you probably blew your thing o.0

Find out what the sub is first..

if it's dual 4, then wire it in parallel to get 2 ohms

chucku, I'd prefer a hifonics over a JL to be honest, the difference to me isn't large enough to pay the double.

they're rated to do at LEAST 600@1,2,4 ohms, but they are very underrated and can do more.
I know they can do more but I thought they did the same power at all ohms? You have yours rated different.

It's probably not that closely regulated, you should lose 1/2 your power by doubling impedence, hardly the case with those amps.

600w, give it more than that man. 800-1000W should make it happy.

I sent mine 1500w each, yes, a bit excessive...

Amazing, been 3 years and you are still running Adire.

I was told not to give it more than 800 and if I did not to push it all the way to 800 since it could blow. I guess I just love the sound of Adire...
