What amps are best for a kicker 15 l7. My friends about to pick up on this sub and hes looking for an amp. I was thinking about the zx1000. what else is there not just from kicker. less than 500$

Pioneer PRS-X720, if you take my advice you won't regret it. You can find them on Ebay for about $200. 1200+ watts at 2 ohms, and VERY clean power. Trust me, I have owned nothing but PRS amps since I got back into car audio a couple years ago, and hopefully I will never have to use anything else. have you bought the sub already? if not buy a dual 2 ohm and run it at 1 ohm and your options are greater

Okay no, he has not purchased the sub yet. I was gonna have him get the 2ohm sub , but i was not aware that it could be ran at 1ohm. How do you wire a single 15 for 1ohm.

What about a PG Xenon 1200.1. The amps are pretty beefy!
