I recently purchased 2 12'' Audiobahn Special Edition subs. They are rated 400 watts for each one. So what is the best amp i can buy for these. I need to stay around $300-$400?

If you've got two of those subs and they can take up to 400 watts each then the pertinent info is already there for you, friend. A pair (2) of 400 watt subs can take up to 800 watts together, eh? Get you an amplifier that will feed up to 800 to the pair of them, then!

"Best" is an incredibly subjective term, friend. You can get perfectly suitable 800 watt amps for less than your stated budget or you can go a little bit fancier and spend all of it. Your questions are terribly vague because far more often than not there are too many extenuating factors in any car audio buying decision.

Audiobahn A8000t or A8002t. Not the best, but cheap and will do the trick.
