Need 600Wx1 RMS @ 2 ohm amp

Can anyone recommend a Class D amp that runs a DVC, 2 Ohm stable sub (RE's 12" SE series)that can take 600W RMS?

I got a $200 gift card for Best Buy and their website shows they carry the Alpine MRP-M650. Price is $300. $100 out of pocket for it seems like a good deal; 600Wx1 @ 2 Ohms, Class D . I'm gonna go over there and check it out tomorrow.

Anyone have one of these?

well, i for one like what i have. the x600.1 has a tun go juice for the money.. but the truth is there a quite a few that fit the bill.. and people like to recommend the stuff they like, and if they like it, they probably have one..

to talk about the x600.1, i have my x600.1 hooked up to a quality headunit and 2 AA Assassin 12's and it is all i can take with the gain up only 45%. i have been told that all x600.1s will do better then 800watts X 1.. and that it is incredibly over built.. i have run it more then a hour cranked and it was barely warm.. with a simple mod, it can easily and conservatively put out 1500watts rms.. search for x600.1 mod and you be sure to find it

i am sure allot of other amps will work too..

Here's a listing for the same monoblock that I use.

Rated for 600w X 1 @ 14.4vdc but I have seen multiple reports of them benching over that.

You know what? I wanna get that **** Alpine MRP-M650 for only $100+tax out of pocket, but the Alpine MRD-m605 intrigues me. Can anyone explain why the 605 is $100 more than the 650?

I'm sure there's a reason, but I'm not as experienced as the rest of you to identify it.

I've got a used Alpine MRD-M501 (2004 model I believe) that is in mint condition. Its rated at 550w but puts out over 600, going by the birth sheet. PM me if interested, I can get pics.
