Need 6.5 componets to match my Alpine amp

I'm looking for some component speakers to match my amp. I have a 2006 Pilot with the stock head unit. I have line converters connected to the back which run RCA to an Alpine MRP-F300 V-Power Series 4-channel car amplifier — 50 watts RMS x 4. My price range is $150 to $250. I've seen a few speakers that I'm interested in like the Morel Maximo 6 but I'm worried my amp wont power them correctly. The tweeters will be located in the dash under the windshield while the woofers are low on the doors. My concern is that the wrong type of tweeter will be blasting treble into my face and wont mix with the mids. I may need crossovers that will let me dial the treble down. I never run my system loud so volume is not important. I have no brand preference.

Here are a few speakers I'm looking at.

Polk Audio DB6501

Alpine SPR-60C

JL Audio C2-650

Infinity Kappa 60.11CS

Morel Maximo 6

Thanks for any input.

Are you talking about something like the FOCAL 165A1? I did have those in a previous vehicle and thought they sounded great even without an amp. But I'm still concerned that they are 120 watts RMS when my amp is only rated at 50 watts. Is that an issue at low volumes? I should also state that I'm an amateur when it comes to car audio so if it sounds like I don't know what I'm talking about it's probably because I don't know what I'm talking about.

Edit: I see now. You are talking about the IS165 - Focal Integration 6.5. I've never really looked at those. Is the lack of an external cross-over an issue?

you could run either the 165as or the iss165 they are both the same price. Personally id go with the 165as because they are a new speaker and do come with a real external crossover.

Also the 165 a1 isnt 120rms its 120 peak.

All speakers have an rms range. these focals are good from 5-70w. However they are still a 70wrms speaker. In general you want to run speakers at around plus or minus 30% of their rms. so having a pair of 70 watt rms focals would be fine running on your 50wrms alpine amp.

Also you made a point earlier about underpowering speakers and having them blow at low volumes. Now I'm not an expert and hopefully someone corrects me if I'm wrong but from my understanding blowing speakers with lower wattage occurs when someone tries to turn it up too loud. Your speakers are going to try and play as loud as your telling them to weather the amp is powerful enough or not.

So when you hear about people blowing speakers from them being underpowered its because they were generally turned up to about 95% of the headunits capabilities and after they were blown someone told them to give them some more power so they didnt have to crank the volume so high

That Alpine is ideal for an active system, for tweeters.. Vifa BC25SC06-04 1" Textile Dome Tweeter, $32/pr.

I can testify for the tweeters, LOUD & CLEAR..

Focal HP5-M116 midrange drivers.. WoofersEtc.com - HP5-M116 - Focal 5.25" OEM Midrange Speakers PAIR, $50/pr.

Beat that SQL for $82, you can't..

If running speakers at lower than RMS wattage would damage them, you'd blow your speakers every time you turned down the volume on the head unit.

In other words, a 50 watt amp very seldom ever actually sends 50 watts to the speaker(s) connected to it... if ever. At low volumes, you may only be sending 1 or 2 watts of power to your speakers and at full tilt boogie, you may only be sending 45 to them... if you're lucky.
