Its an awesome amp, also that picture of the autotek is not the real mm3000.1d it is the mm1000d but its the picture the website uses for all the mean machine amps. What kind of subs are you going to be using?

HO alt, bat up front, 1 or 2 bat in the rear all 1/0. It really depends on the amp.

as for electrical, if you daily drive it i'd say a 200 amp alt and a powermaster d3100 in the back, you can probably just leave your stock batt under the hood. 1/0 for big three and power run.

no, 3000 watts is a lot. you are going to need the alt. you cant just use 2 extra batteries with nothing to recharge them.
