I have a custom box for my accord that fits 3 10's and is tuned for infinity perfect 10's.. I have an amp that pushes 600x1 at 2 ohms and 400x1 at 4 ohms. If I get dual 4 ohm subs, wire them at 8, then wire the trio I can get it down to approx 2.6 ohms..
The guy who built the box still has the 3 infinity perfects, but two of them have cone damage (nothing dramatic) and they were bought about 18 months ago.. I know there is a new 2006 version of the sub out, and I dont think they are the ones he has. He wants $400 for the three of them, and I really dont think i want to spend that much money on used subs...
Should I just go ahead and get the 3 10" INfinity Perfect 10VQ dual 4ohm subs new, which would cost more, and get the warranty, or should I just pick up this guys subs in which the box was tuned for... decision decisions...
either way, Each sub will get about 180 watts rms...
