2006 10" L7

Just wondering how clear a 10" L7 in a ported box would sound. and how loud really it would be...i would have around 1000 watts for it...or would a 12" l7 sealed sound cleaner...i listen to alot of rap but sometimes i like the hard rock with the double bass..i had w6's but i want to try kicker...how do they sound

Everything is install dependent, but in your average install, the l7 wont sound as clean as the w6 will. they can sound good though.. If you are set on going sealed, then the cvx will work out better for you. L7s ported, cvx sealed.

A 10 L7 in a 2.0 cuft tuned to 35 would sound really nice and tight on 1000watts.

A 12L7 Would sound good on 1000watts in 2.5cuft also.

Depends I like ported so I would say 12L7 in 3cuft tuned to 36hz.

The subs, enclsoure size and amp in my sig. Sounds perfect( to me anyways).
