Need 2k Watts

I am looking for a aprox 2k watts @1 ohm amp that is farily inexpensive. Preferred budget is $300 but it is pretty flexable. Right now I will only be powering a single HDC3 15" but want to have headroom and the ability to upgrade etc.... Also, I am open to other less powered amps if they pair real well to the HDC 15.

I had an MBQ 1500 that is on the fritz so so the 2000 watt model is an option. I know there are some other values in the area but would like suggestions.
