Need 10" subwoofer

Hi yall,

I need suggestions for 10" subwoofer. Here are the requirements...

1. Below $200. Willing to go up to $250 if it makes a noticeable difference.

2. Supplied by 700 wrms amp.

3. Can wire for 2ohm (4ohm DVC, 2ohm SVC, or 1ohm DVC).

4. Has at least rubber surround (not foam).

5. Work in a sealed box ~.85 cubic feet.

6. Running 1 sub only!

I appreciate any suggestions!

Bump.

I am also looking to a very similar setup for a single 10" sub to put in my lancer evo trunk. I have emphasis on sound quality (daily driver...). From lurking around I picked up on a couple that seem favorable...

Alpine Type R 10" DVC 600rms - $180

TC Sounds Epic 10" 500rms - $160

I could build you a 10" TC sounds based TC9 motor with a copper shorting ring and parts that are made to be optimized at 700+/-wrms if that would be of interest?

Sounds french to me (sounds good but I don't know what it means)...sorry still learning. The TC9 seems to be a good motor. Is this found in the Epic 10" by chance.

TC Sounds Epic 10" only comes in DVC 2ohm. Sundown Audio SA-10 uses foam surround. =T

How about a JBL P1024. They do well in small sealed enclosures and that power pairs well with one as does the Image Dynamics IDQ10V3.

The epic uses the TC2+ motor. Which i also have on hand and could build you up as well.

Foam has crumbled/cracked on me during hot Phoenix summers in the trunk. I park outdoors.

Um, that sub is 300 rms and peak 600 rms. My amp produces 700 rms...
