Yes, Carver amps were good up to the KMOS line.

They sounded great, but they blew easily.

Very load sensitive.

I have a blown M240 sitting in a drawer here, the darn thing blew twice on me back in the late 80's on a 4ohm load.

That reminds me, anyone know who works on them since Carver no longer does?

No, straight 4ohms when it died the two times (the original 4ohm Kicker C12's, one per channel), but when I bought it back in the late 80's it was pulled from a local car audio demo vehicle and saw some real punishment I imagine.

lol born in 87...no wonder. I had a 79 cutlass with mtx subs, kenwood pull the whole **** deck out, 6 x 9"s 3 way and a kenwood amp when you were like 6 months old.
