mystery sub 12" help for box ideas...

hello all.

this sub came from a buddy I built a box for - he gave it to me for the box I built him for his two 10's

12" - its dual 4 ohm coils - has tied down tinsel leads

double stack magnet - vented pole - and a weird weave texture on the cone.

and I believe it had a sticker on the magnet saying it can take around 800w rms

so im gona give it that off my bxi1206d @2 ohm in a box I have no idea how to design. - as I have never ever heard about merlin subs before,

so I realley have no ideas on its tuning if ported, or required air space.

or any info on them in general. its probly a bo bo sub... o well.

if any one knows about this sub / or the company - please chime in.

or

if any one would like to recomend me a box build for it,

that would be cool also.

I was thinking about doing it sealed - around 1.5 to 1.75 cubes

any one think thats way off for this sub ?

just throw it in like 1.5-2 cubes @ 35hz and see how it likes it

someone will guess it, I forget the name but it has a distinct basket, Im guessing same buildhouse
