15w4.... 4 ohm sub.. 15". what's not to know?

Also, the spider is sliced it looks.

Well it says it right on the magnet, it's a 15 inch W4 4 ohm version.

It is from before JL started making W3s and W6s so it is more than 8 years old.

Just a guess, this could be an early model IB (Infinite Baffle) model from the early 1990's.

Haha, yeah I figured that much out. Just trying to figure out if you guys had any experience with them.

what about power handling or what needs to be done about the sliced spider?

that slice looks pretty bad, tbh you can't really fix it without doing a full recone. you can do a temp. fix i guess but it really won't perform like it should.

All I saw on there was the D4, but this sub doesn't have 2 sets of terminals?
