I got some suggestions from another forum I am a member of, but nothin is final other than the headunit. I don't know alot about car audio, but I have been learned a little about it lately. I do know that I want bass, but I want it to be clear as well. If you think you have a better suggestion than this list let me know.

ya. Im not sure if knu sells wiring "kits" tho...u can pick up a kicker 1/o hyperflex wiring kit for less than that off ebay.

I have pretty much made up my mind on the sub. I am probly gonna go with an Eclipse 7200. Still havent made up my mind on the 6.5" I am gonna go to BB soon to check some out.

Alright. If I am correct #1 goes into the back of the radio. I pair the wires up on #1 with wires from #2. #2 then plugs into the plug in the dash.

In #7 and #8 what is the silver box? Also, the three plugs were not being used. IDK this is all confusin me a little. Should I just unplug most of the wires out of the dash and hook my harness up like I was sayin?

Alot of this is gonna change when I get the rest of my setup and I can get all these wires out of the way hopefully.

That is the plan. I haven't bought them yet. I just went to listen to what they had and pick some out. The Alpines sounded the best in my opinion.

I am glad you're not going with Infinity though.

Don't worry about wiring kits. Even the cheapy ones from Walmart do just fine. Wire is wire, no matter what price tag you put on it.

Shop around for amps. You can get better pricing for more power. Good is somewhere around 4 watts per $1. Kicker isn't a bad option, decent pricing, look on Ebay. Also check out Cadence, Hifonics, and Phoenix Gold.

Ditto on the Infinity sub. There are better options. The "right" option will depend on what you're looking for, i.e. desired box size, available power, desired output, and desired frequency range(flat frequency response from X Hz to Y Hz.
