I got my Optima Yellow Top today.

I don't need 3 outputs. I just bought the only RCAs I am going to need.

What do you guys think about those? A guy on another forum is sellin two them for 195+shipping but they are used. Would the Kicker 400.1 work with these?

That wiring in your car is for the factory amplfied system. From the pics you have an eclipse, and those RCAs going into that round din cable are the inputs to the factory amp. So, if you are planning on using that factory system that is in the car, and not replacing it, then you are going to need 3 sets of RCA ouputs from your radio.

If you have your head unit installed now, was the factory amp bypassed so that the 4 speakers are run off the headunit? Or were Y adapters used so that you have lost your ability to balance or fade?

I used the same y adapters seen in the picture so currently I am still using the factory amp. I plan on purchasing new 6.5 components and an amp to push them so that will eliminate the need for 3 sets of outputs.
