My system is weighing down the back of my car. What can I do?

There's a video on the site that shows how to replace your current suspension with their kits. No it cost more but will last longer and provide a better feel when driving than a cheap set of shocks.
Yeah, after Googling it I see what you mean. Now the thing is finding the right pair for my Impala as most I see are for Trucks. I guess I'll just call the company and see which one they would suggest using. Thanks mane!

WOW. How does that even work? I'm not knockin it, it just sounds funny. You mentioned it's cost conscious, well mclerico83 just showed me a pair of springs that can raise my car about an inch or more depending on the age of the car for $130.00. Is it cheaper than that?
your in columbus i know an amazing shop they could inform you about anything you need on the suspension and great prices

INTENSE Racing - Leading Global Supplier of 3800, Ecotec, and LSx Performance Parts

they specialize in 3.8 vehicles.

**Off topic** Which MMats 3500 do you have? is it the 1 ohm or half ohm stable one?
1 ohm 2800 watts. Really does about 3150 as Mmats always underates their amps.

I prolly could do a half ohm and it could hit over 4K, but would blow pretty quickly.

if you wanted to try a cheap option first you could see if your auto zone has these coil spring "plugs" that provide a little lift. Basically you lift the car up, and then place the plugs into the spring wherever they fit tight. drop the car back down and it basically just doesnt let that coil compress. Not sure how much it would help but I saw them a few months back at the auto parts store.

I had a Chevy Malibu and now I'm in the middle of Transfering my system over. In the Malibu I noticed my rear was significantly lower than other malibus. So much so that you felt every bump in the road.

Is getting heavy duty or truck /shocks/struts for the rear an option?

In the trunk I have:

DC XL 15s weigh 56 bls each

Kenitik battery weighs 70 lbs

Enclosure? I'm getting around 70 as well, maybe a little more.

pushin a Mmats 3500 so I need the second battery.

Please let me know what I can do to solve this issue besides downgrading my system. That aint happenin.
Stock springs

Springs from a bigger car

s all u did was put in a bigger (taller) cil spring??? fuckk man, if id have had that option I woulnd thave spent so much n a lift kit. What I got was a strut mod kit. came with 2 n ew struts modified 3" lifted

I have a jetta. I bought a set of rear springs off a passat and swapped them out for my factory springs. Even with 550 of people in the rear seat. The rear end dropped maybe 1/2 an inch.

So once I finish up my build. I know my rear won't be sagging. But my car will be slow AS H3LL

Thanks for postin that. I'm tempted to go to a junk yard and get some springs off a truck for real.
You can always cut the springs until they reach the height you desire.

I hope mine balance out. Otherwise I may have to cut them. They make the car look like a drag car. I hate how it looks.
