I just got my subs and amp installed on saturday. I still have a lot of finishing work to do to make it look a lot better, but here is what i have so far. Keep in mind this is my daily driver, so that is why the box is sealed, plus i listen to mostly heavy metal so I like to have as tight bass as possible.

Let me know what you think, and if you have any ideas for making it look nicer. The install is in its early stages still.

Honestly the R's and the RE's sound very similar to me. They have very similar midbass and highs.

The quarts i had in the car only for a while, but that was just he mids. Someone gave them to me, and they were pretty much already close to dead.

how much power you feeding them.

before they were getting about 70 watts per side. Right now they are getting about 250 watts per side. I have my zapco studio 500 running at 4 ohms stereo on them. The gain is all the way down though.

is the 125 a pretty nice differance? are they in sealed kicks?

In kicks, that aren't sealed. The 70 per side was on my old alpine 4 channel amp that was bridged. I traded that for a old PPI art series a200, but that amp has some problems. It would cause my right speaker to cut in and out, so i went ahead and just put my zapco up there since it was just sitting around.

I used to have the zapco running my RE XXX 15" before i got the kicker setup.
