my system any good?

im planning on buying an Image Dynamics IDQ v.3 12 inch dual 4 ohms and powering it with a Kicker zx 500.1 amp. It does 500 rms at 2 ohms. I could get the amp for a deal so thats why i went with that amp and from what i read on this forum, the Kicker zx models are solid. is my system any good?

j/k ID's are nice, should sound decent with that amp with the right box.

should be pretty good... don't expect it to be really loud, but based on your front stage, doesnt look like what you are goin for... nice equip.

im more of a sound quality guy, but imma place the sub in a ported box.

get the box custom built if you have an extra 150 to spend on a box... will be worth it.. Guarantee you! that subs can play pretty nice if in the right box

my front stage is a crystal sscs 6 component system. yea kicker zx 500.1 is their new 2008 model. as for the box, imma get someone to build it to the recommended specs from Image Dynamics. i think it was 2^3 tuned at 28 hz.
