Ok I need some help with my system. I have a 1988 Buick Park Ave. Right now I am running a set of Type R 12"s Dual 4 in a 5 cube box tuned to 35, built with around the subs. I have a Concept CC-D2400A Amp on it. As for the Stereo it is just a Cheap Pioneer from wal mart one of the 99.00 deals. I have JL 4 gauge from battery back to the amp. I ended up taking the rear 6x9's out of the deck(too much airflow for them I guess). I also just put a set of memphis mids in the front doors.
What I am running into is that the sound is being killed by the bass. Since all I have is 6.5 in the front door and the factory tweeters in the front doors, what could I do to equal it all out, I want loud but I want quality too. I don't want to throw anything else in the rear deck, since it is a sealed trunk car all of the escapes through there and I don't want to keep popping little speakers. And I get a real bad dimming too. I have stock eectrical with a redtop under the hood. If I get bigger wire would that help? Does the Big 3 help enough to notice a diff?? any info is greatly appreciated. Just not sure what to do in this car, thanks guys.
