well he didnt have much time to do it, and if it gets powdercoated then it wont matter, also i think i may put it in invertedly, or else i dunno just drill a hole in the back and caulk it, who knowsca.com first? i was expecting a cleaner sheet metal-like finish. looks awesome though man. what are you doing for terminals and the sub mounting?
http://www.realmofexcursion.comok here it goes, the amp is comming in today, its 1230 here, i go to work at 230, hopefully the amp comes in before, its all ready to be wired, it would take me 4-5 min to do, but i dont know if the amp will come in before i go to work, so tonight for sure i will hook the amp in the steel box up then post some pics, then see how it works, i can get a short vid of it to but i dont know how to upload the pics on here,
I currently have two steel boxes welded into my floorpans . they house 2-JL audio w-6-8'' subs .The only difference is that mine have Mdf tops. I just made sure the box was sealed real well and then lined the walls with polly fiber fill .Needless to say I have killer midbassill try to get the box back tommorow, my buddy is doing it for free, its all labor time, ill buy him an 18 or something some time, its just something to try out, he has all the tools so its really easy, ill try to get some pics up tommorow, has anyone ever tried a steel box?

how are you going to mount it to the box? did he weld bolts on it?
