148 isn't just something you can get by throwing some stuff together, what kind of meter did you use?

My buddies termlab....We took it last week to a comp with his set up and it was .5 lower on a average then the meter they were using....My epic-160 is 4db short of his termlab but its dead consistant with his termlab minus the 4db.....My epic read 144 and his Term ready 148 and was hit on a 35hz-45HZ slow sweap.

Its stupid stupid loud but that one thing I couldnt believe was how clean of a punch and a smooth the low tones sounded....Many many thanks to DJ at Audioque...He gave me some pointers on where to set the amp and it was dead on!

By the way,the paint was 7 cans of Fleckstone.

Same with my HDC's, they punch hard on rock, but will get low on that crap you young guys listen to...

So how big is the port as it's obviously over 16^2 per cube?

LOL....I know that...I actually sectioned off the trunk last night and saw a steady 1.5-2 db gain instantly....I was shocked when the meter was put on and the same song played before and after....WOW!

This combo is by far the best combo I have put together yet...Its a beast!
