I almost experienced that... I was screwing it in and mdf started to feel weaker. Then I look at the inside and it was starting to crack //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/mad.gif.c18f003ab0ef8a0d9c27ca78d77a6392.gif . But at least it didnt break off. The sub cutouts are too bad its just that they are sorta uneven. But i even cut them slightly smaller so that I wouldnt make a bigger hole.T-nuts **** with MDF be careful. I ended up taking out a huge chunk out of my box because the wood broke around the subwoofer cutout and I had to get a special wood epoxy to patch up the entire part.
