How do these work? I think they are for mounting the sub...

thnx. I think for those metal things Im supposed to drill a hole and probably add some silicone. Then the spikey parts are supposed to be hammered down. Ima go do that right now.

How do these work? I think they are for mounting the sub...

indeed are. pre-drill a hole to fit the t-nut. place the t-nuts on the back side of your baffle. insert the screw from the frontside and tighten. the force from tightning the screw will cause the t-nut to insert into place. remove the screw and intall your sub.

yea thats what i was thinking about doing. The rears dont look so bad. And I did get sweat deal on these.

I have two of the 12" version of that sub except I have the dvc version. I like them a lot. Mine are in a 2.25 cu. ft. box ported at 28 hz each ( I like sq //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/yumyum.gif.0556df42231b304b9c995aefd13928a8.gif ). They are in a dual chamber sealed box with ~~ .90 cuft each. Lightly stuffed with polyfill. I barely installed them today on my lunch break and the gain is 1/4 up. Havent really played with it yet. Sound good so far tho. I might have to give them time tho they are pretty Beefy. They look strong so it might take some time be4 i can really get the gains up.

also where can i get some rubber type stuff u put on the subs to make it sealed better? I kinda messed up on the cut outs of the subs cuz I was using a Sawzall...
