My New Electrical System

im gonna run a clarion 1500 in my girls car, it does 1500 at 1 or 2 ohms but I dont know if i want to go lower, On another website i saw some other diagrams, The only thing is i dont know how legit it is, thats why i asked u guys

 
15v? Why not just get a h/o and be done with it?
I get 14.5v with my little 4 banger alty.
Stock alternators are cheaper and idle higher. HO alts usually have horrible idle output.

A stock Hummer will NOT go above 13.5 volts no matter what without some sort of regulator so that is why I have it.

As far as the ACDelco battery, that is for my main car electronics. The stereo isn't pulling anything at all from that battery. The big batteries are in the back..

this is not accurate... most H.O. alts are built for the purpose of having higher output at idle.. for many of them are built for CA applications. They change the diodes, and stater to handle more power, and usually put on a smaller pulley for higher output at idle

Okay correction then, most H.O. alts that put out 300 or more amps have low idle amperage. Iraggi for example has the dominator and amputator series. The dominator series are much higher max amps but much cheaper because of their low idle amps. The amputator series is lower max but higher idle but also much more expensive.
