btw, beautiful subs
ive been wanting a pair of 18's myself

tell me again incase im mistaken what u were trying to get out of them

thanks man. but no specific number or anything just wanted em to get nasty low and be a bit painful on the higher end bass too me higher end bass is 40-60hz differnt strokes for different folk tho.

Ha, you can easily got >145 if you know what your doing with that amount of power and cone area. I would certainly hope so anyway //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif On the other hand street beating and pulling those numbers could be tough, but it can definatly happen //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

if you can hold an 18 in each hand, they aren't big enough.

jk. nice subs. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

lol you got an good point there mayne. and thanks they are pretty nice subs i guess.

well **** maybe i need higher tuning
No never, not for street beating, I dont understand why everyone wants to tune so high when you listen to the shit all day long //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif Tune it between 30~34 PLZ //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

Just my preference anyway, but what do I know? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

mikey any other tips u can give me for these subs like box wise? i plan on using double baffle 45 degree corners. Resin the inside lots of 2x4 bracing and actually glassing the outside of the box. any other tips?

i got 2 btls in 13cubes tuned to 35hz and its um retarted loud. 152.5 to music(tl) also nice choice of amps //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Yeh....i wouldnt go below 35hz tuning....most alll heavy bass songs are in the 40hz anyways, unless your gonna play some crazy low DJ Billy E songs all day itd be pointless to tune lower

Id like around 35-38hz....still slam the lows but be better all around

yea see thats my only problem 99% of the time im listening to chopped and screwed stuff so thats why im skeptic about tuning 35hz. i also like the flex i get from tuning low i like to watch my back door catch the holy ghost lol
