If this is the car I think it is, which I'm fairly sure it is, it should be getting a lot louder. No offense to you. I think you should have built a wall instead. Since it seems as if you're not planning on using the rear seat. Put 4 or even all 6 in a wall, and it'd kill the car. Too bad you went with the HFi12's. The HF12D4's can be had for cheap, and take a little more wattage.

If this is the car I think it is, which is my old car. It definitely gets loud. With 2 cheap 12's and 600WRMS, I had the spoiler almost broken off. This car has it's potential.

And either the OP's box is just "hopping" around there, or you "2x4" braces dont exist. Ive got 1 single up and down 1" dowel in my box in the middle which is 37 X 47 X 22 and it doesnt flex AT ALL, single baffle aswell

they are the d4's,i was sponsored the subs, and a few amps. as soon as we get a second car (the saturn dield 2 days after this one was fixed...lol) i will be going walled with 2 more subs.

finally got her running after around 700+ into her. i got her running then i forgot that you said that she had a fuel leak....that was frusturating, lol turned out to be a rubbed spoton a fuel line off of the sending unit, the old motor had skipped time, and bent a few valves, so for the price of getting the head rebult, i just bought a new motor/***** from a guy on craigslist w/ 40,000 original miles, so the grandam will continue her loud legacy, i have already had 3 different systems in it, and i agree.....for some reason she does get pretty loud

and the spoiler has long since broken off..... and been replaced.....and broken off......and been replaced....lol!

got my new UL amps today....i know this company has a rather bad rep, BUT there under new ownership now and its supposed to change (from what i understand) i will let you guys know what i think about them tomorrow when i get them in.

if it doesnt it will be super close, my old setup w/ 2 rhinos hit 147, and this setup in significantly louder
