18" Fi Q and MTX TA7801 COME!!

So, I just installed these.. I am very pleased with the results.. the only question is what should the gain be set at on the MTX? I have it a little below halfway right now. I would like it to hit a bit harder on lower volumes on some rap songs b/c I have to turn it up a lot (55/60) to actually bump.

Stock electrical.. Do you think turning the game 3/4 would be too much? I probably have it at 4/10 right now..

What kind of amp are you going to run with your Q!~

EDIT: Also, I was wondering what to put the sub at on the pioneer 600UB.. I have it set on +2 for rap/bassy and +0 for like Jack johnson or Dave Matthews!

What head unit is it? 4v or 2v preouts?

I wouldnt put much more than 1200 on a non-BP Q

Just take a look at the gain setting tutorial. I have virtually the same setup and it is spectacular.

well with no electrical upgrades, your not going to get more than 1000 outta that amp I'd bet...and at 3/4 gain your running into a situation where you could send a bad signal from the amp trying to push to much power
