My little review of RE SE's

wow they get that loud on only 250 rms each ..?

Don't forget, I haven't had many comparisons so my opinion is completely subjective. But IMO they get pretty loud off of 250 each

I hope what im hearing about these subs are true. I got 2 15" SE's that ill be giving 600RMS ea in 4cuft SEALED. Im hoping they'll be a step above my 2 12" L7's, on the 1606D.

Your opinion means alot to me, Considering i was suprised when i heard my friends 2 10" Type-r's in a Sealed prefab off of 500rms. If they play lower [of course, theyre 15's.], and just as good ill be happy with my purchase. Altho im hoping to make him upgrade after he hears it.

They will definitely play lower, the type r's don't get low for shit, even in a sealed box it doesn't get low, the SE's kill the R in the lows IMO.

I agree with you. These SEs are awesome. I have one in a sealed box. I have the AQ 1200D (great amp by the way //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif)

and it hits hard. Gains a little under a quarter. I haven't set anything yet.

Are these subs only Dual2ohm? Can't find any on eBay that's dual4ohm.

No... Have you seen/heard the SE's? IIRC they're like quad stack magnets or something.. they are absolutely monstrous for a 600w sub

Well I'm comparing a single type R sealed (stupid me didn't know to port a R) to a PAIR of Ported SE's just because its the only other firsthand experience i have.
