my latest build

i no this aint much of a build log, but its finished pics of my latest install i did in my ford ranger.

well i wanted to switch it up again, yea i seem to do that alot lmao. but i this time i didnt want to wall my ranger off. i wanted my window back and wanted to gain a lil bit of room back. and i wanted to use 1 sub. my goal with this build was to get close to the numbers of my 2 15s which was a 148 on music with both windows down and a 146.8 sealed. yea horrible sealed i no. but my goal was to get close to those numbers. so with that said here is wat i came up with, i figured id use DCs Beast known as the LVL5 18" :01nocomment8so:

sub- LVL5 18"

Box- 6.5cubes with sub forword on pass side port up on drivers side.

amp-cactus sounds team cactus 5k (2ohms daily and .5ohms for comps)

anyways onto the pics :spiteful: :hairtrick:

with pics up, let me no wat you guys think, my ear O meter tells me its close to the 2 15s ^_^ but ill no forsure in bout a week or so.

i had it under the window line, but i couldnt get my batts under the false floor so i had to raise the floor 2.5" so the box is just under 3" abouv the window. but im very happy with it, turned out great nice and clean. and still keeps up with my 2 15s

i honestly dont no lol. i built this to be a niice clean and loud install. its close to my 2 15s maybe louder, ill no for sure ina week or so when i get TL to my house.

Looks great but I would have just left it wired down to .5, assuming you have the electrical to do so. With box rise you are probably setting at 2.5ohms to 3ohms:crap:

yea ill have to get some pics the next time i have the sub out, i forgot my cam at home when i did the install. so those are all pics of when i got home that nite. but yea i was thinkin bout that too. the last time i had the amp wired to .5ohm my worst drop was 14.1 so yea my electrical aint terrible. i may be switching it later but for now im not taken that heavy *** sub out again lol
