Wait, I wanna run 2 3000s, but is it too much, could my car not handle it? Im not sure about 4 1500s, but I could do 2 3000s. should i? what about 1 big amp? better? This is still just daily remember! I'm just passionate about my noise.

we altready said 2 3000d's with 2 btls will kill..... voltage will be stable IF you get a ho alt. and few good batts this will allow for some full throttle fun but dont get to knob happy or youll get magical smells at low voltages.... occasionally be gentle to recharge the batts

I my self have 3 kinetik 2400's and 1 1400 with a 200 amp alt and 2 z1's with a xt 1600.4 and i can boogey for long periods of time befor it gets warm......

He's not going to be able to do 16V setup.... he wants to stick with 1 big alt and some batts... gonna have to be a 12V-14V setup, so he won't see the max power from the 3000D.

With only one alt, unless he wants to run his car off of battery only, no alt, and just use the alt for the sound system.... see what I am getting at... no 16V with just 1 alt in a newer model car... computer would likely flip out...

but it will be solid power for the price with warranty......if it were with out warranty id suggest another route....just my opinion now....dont take any offense to that

I know it will be loud, and I have heard that of 18s, BTL is on the upper end of SQ, so I can listen to other stuff beside bass while the batteries charge. How much, on 12v, will I ACTUALLY get out of the 2 sundowns.

Get u some old tank car with no computer and decent quality light bulbs (so they don't bust) and you could do a 16V setup with 1 alt.... LOL...

with a good alt, you will be in the high 13's so you will see some pretty stupid numbers either way.

The problem is these 3kw, 4kw amps are so often talked about that I don't think the guys that haven't experianced them really understand what 3000watts actually feels like. Yes 6000 is more, but holy crap, back in the day if your whole system was 1000 watts you were a big boy!

Too many variables to go pointing out numbers... u got voltage drops, box rise, etc... you would have to install it all, then measure it to find that out... gonna depend on your impedance rise and your electrical systems voltage drop... Same thing with ANY amp.

id say anywhere from 5500- 6200(nominal) dependent on input voltage and remote votage....size and amount of batts will play a big role...
