Would it be better to go with many small batteries or a few large ones

You might come out less expensive buying a couple of the larger batteries rather than buying a bunch of small batteries that add up to the same amount power. Other than cost and complication in wiring (using a lot of smaller batteries=more wire and connectors) there would be no difference.

Okay. Sundown it it. Last thing. Would it be better to run (2) SAZ-3000s, or (4) SAZ-1500s? I know the 1500 has the heatsink, but is it worth the extra dollar?

You need a Cadence ZRS-9000, 6000 rms at 1 ohm and will run .5 ohm daily for even more power. Pm me if you are interested I have one for sale and is well in your budget. I am asking well under a grand shipped. Let me know.
