id say u need to put some grills on those midbass before u kick one!! looks good tho. very nice. what made u choose blue vs that color carpet.

I will be ordering some grilles shortly, for sure.

It really doesn't look that blue in person. It's more of a gray color, and definately looked gray when I bought it.

I wanted a little contrast on the color, and it would be no big deal to cover them again if I decide to change my mind

How do the HDs sound sealed up? How's their 80-100hz region? If I ever made door pods, I'll probably go ported with them once I make a test enclosure.

I wanted to, but it's rather expensive, and I didn't even use a quart of filler

I could only find the rage in gallons. I doubt I'll use filler again, or atleast any time soon, so to be honest it wasn't worth it right now.

If I were doing bigger, or more in depth projects I would have.

They sound pretty good man, although I still have some tuning/eqing I've got to do.

I enjoy them but I need deadening. They rattle the shit out of my doors if I cross them over around 80hz. I have to keep it at 100hz to keep things sane on certain songs. I want to try them ported and see how I like them. I plan on building a testing ported enclosure with adjustable tuning and volume soon. I will be using this for some bookshelf speakers and for the HDs when I have the time and money to build something for them.
