I'm guessing you're at a very informal type of employer, where you do what ever tasks need accomplished. In which case, I don't see any reason to expect anything above or beyond your regular wages for doing any type of job within your scheduled hours. Hell, I do stupid off-the-wall crap at my job all the time (change light bulbs, salt the walkways in winter, etc) when it's clearly not in my job description (professional office job).

you know...take this as advice not critisizm. Maybe if you owned up and took pride in your job...went above and beyond..your employer would take notice of this and reward you for it. Possibly make you a shift manager and then you can tell others to scoop the shit out. In todays world employees who take lots of pride in little shyt jobs are few and far between...why not try to stand out in the crowd?

i take pride in my job.....that is when i vaccuum cars out i make sure EVERYTHING is clean.

PS: I could see if i worked full time hours doing this, but i work like 23-25 hours a week.
