as ive said i dont really wanna lose the job cuz i enjoy the daily work, just cant see how employers get away with making a kid work in unsanitary conditions without the proper safety gear. not really *****in bout the work.

I dont mean to rain on your parade, but you scooped up mudd/dirt out of a hole. I am a cook in a resturant, the dishwashers have to go clean clogged toilets, that is unsanitary. If the dishwashers dont show up, I do dishes and cook, sweep mop floors etc. It is not in my job descripiton, but someone has to do it. That is how you move up not being at a job for 1-1 and a half months looking for a raise. Most jobs only give raises after 6 months or 1 yr. As bimma said your doing a easy job for minimum wage. They can get any joe smoe in there to do that. And that is what will happen. If you go complain about every little thing that you do that is not cleaning out a car, the boss will be like see ya. He prob has 20 apps in his desk and can get someone in the next day. I personaly wouldnt even waste my time talking to him about it. I hire and fire people, I know how it goes. But as I said I am just trying to tell you how it works. I started off washing dishes doing much worse stuff then you were that one day for 1hr I did for 4yrs till I really got moved up. Now I dont have to worrie, if I dont like my work I can quit have a job tomorrow and set my price. I am good at what I do and have made a name for myself. Stuff doesnt happen over night you need to **** up the bad things and work through it. That is what a boss is looking for. And as you said it was one time you did this that took one hr.

you could go work at a fast food place or wally world or something. There you'd get at least $6 and won't have to play in the mud.

But you could play in the garbage and the kids area when they get sick, not to mention clean up would prob be worse and more unsanatary. But you could use rubber gloves.
