so I cant run power in a parallel, or big circle? What are grounds?

power gives it power and the ground is the -, just like a light switch there is a power wire going in which is + or sumtimes called a hot wire, then coming out to complete the circuit is the negative, now in car audio the - is called a ground, everything you give power to in the car has to be grounded, you do that by running a wire to the chasis, which the chasis is already hooked to the negative side of the battery, that gives the cd player, amp,etc a complete circuit, do u understand that now???
If I'm not mistaken the PS2 is going to need an DC/AC converter. You cannot hook it directly to the car battery.

51 t, yeh, i just forgot to put that in there. Now I understand grounding, but like what wire and where do I put it? I know you connect a wire to the chsis but not sure which one?
everywhere i go i have to read your stupid comments. please just do us and yourself a favor and stop posting. if you dont have any advice....dont say anythin especially if your puttin people down. You are probably the person i hate most on this forum....no matter how little people know, they try to learn and i respect them for that.

just ground your amps on the chasis in your trunk somewhere. Looks like a nice system you got goin on there.
nice system you're setting up. a few things that will help you out....
the ps2 requires 79 watts in order to run...so you want a dc to ac adapter thats more than 100 watts (just to be safe). you could probably find one for about $25.
actually thats all i have to say. i do have to ask what kind of amp are you running your speakers with? something about that wiring isnt quite right.

Ive updated that picture seting it up with grounds and fuses and correct wiring. thanks, the ps2 is going to cost me like 170 but thats alright. For speakers im going with a jbl 80.4 and probaly, or maybe pioneer speakers. Maybe infinity. Either way its going to definently be a pair of 5x7's in the front and probaly a pair of 6x8 for the back. not sure yet about brands. Maybe some suggestions? heres the more recent of my setup, i took out the ps2 because after i get all the speaker and amp stuff good ill work with that. look down for the picture...

thanks man. now when people say ground, or that picture says ground that means that your actually going to use the chasis to conduct energy? Do i just solder those wires to the chasis, im not familiar with the grounding thing.

would a distribution block be used for grounding?
