This conversation just happened in the other room. My mother was trying to convince my grandmother to get a shower, something she does with extreme infrequency.

My Mom: Mom you should get a shower today.

Grandma: Yes dear your right I should.

*Grandma makes no indication she intends to*

My Mom: Why don't you get one right now?

Grandma: Well I will in the day time.

My Mom: It is the day time.

Yes I used get and take interchangeably. Sorry but she wouldn't take a shower even if you pissed on her I'm sure. The last time she was in a pool she didn't even shower then and smelled of chlorine for quite some time.

Its true last time I gave her a golden shower she didn't wash up after... just a heads up
