of course...45 doesnt FEEL or SOUND very loud at all. 35hz kicks you in the *** in my setup too compared to high 40's.

and I don't think his ear is trained TOO much, funny for him to state that. shows something.

I cant comment on the drivers cause I have yet to hear them, but I can comment on your credability...

MT's don't shine all too well on the real low stuff.

I disagree! Tuned low in a well built LARGE box, the MT sounds great on very low notes.

Well I'm just going off the installs that I have heard.

Which includes Steave Meade's setup.

Meade's box is 20cF 30Hz

Umm...Isnt Meade hitting 53's or 54's in the mid 30hz range? IMO that would not only be low, but freakishly loud.

he is around 57-58 now with the t4kws

For you to say that the MT and meades install doesnt shine on the low end leads me to beleive that you want the unreachable. Maybe you should get the 18" version of your avatar and call it a day...maybe you cant be satisfied...

And since I own a pair of 15's would you beleive me that they can play pretty low with plenty of "authority"?

I never said that. The lowend is very good IMO.....It's a 10 and shakes alot of chit.....but hey your probably right my ears ****.

you said it sounds like your 15'' type R for a 10 to sound like that i think thats **** good makes you wonder how well the 15 and 18's play..
